Challenges
Visit Maldives needed to restore traveler confidence and reclaim market share in a post-pandemic landscape. This required a strategic shift in perception, moving beyond its image as a purely "honeymoon" destination to showcase its diverse offerings in culture, local island experiences, and adventure. Furthermore, they faced the challenge of creating content that resonated across different cultures and languages, while also driving visitation during traditionally slower seasonal periods.
Solution
We developed a multi-platform content strategy that highlighted the many shades of Maldives. This involved collaborating with a diverse set of content creators, from luxury travel bloggers to local culture advocates and underwater videographers, to tell a more complete and compelling story.
